This is actually an issue I've had with a few Rockstar games in the past, though of course this is not Rockstar developed I recall disliking Red Dead a great deal at first but it eventually warming to me. Fascinated why this is. So next weekend I intend to give L. Its a competent crime and investigation game, everything from your initial investigation at the crime scene to the end result is built in such a way that i find myself playing on the edge of my seat worrying that if i miss something i could put the wrong guy away.

Tips wise, i would say dont restart when you get a question wrong, keep going and learn from your mistakes, this will allow you to play as of your decisions have meaning.

A good number of people feel the very same away. Otherwise, you feel terrible because you got 1 wrong, you start to get frustrated and miss half of the dialogue of the next question because you're so flustered and end up messing up even more. This is just what happens every time a popular game is released and someone doesn't like it. They create a thread, act like it's weird or unique that they don't like the popular game I've never felt not liking something that other people liked warrants much attention from either side.

Nobody should justify their position, just deal with it and move on. Play some Leisure Suit Larry, a game we can all hate. I do like it a lot but I definitely think that making it so clear when you get a question wrong during interrogation spoils the immersion.

If it just gave you a breakdown of how many right and wrong answers you got at the end of each case I'd like the game a lot more. Personally if I get two questions wrong in a row it's too frustrating and I switch the off, if I didn't know I had got those questions wrong the case would just carry on without me being any the wiser, just a like an actual case in real life would. Firing up disc 3 on my as we speak and even thou I really do love the storytelling of the game it feels like the gameplay has been the same from the start to this point.

As much as I can enjoy a good story I feel like there should be something more to this game. I can't put my finger on it but something's missing.

I haven't played it yet, but I got out of my pre-order because of similar worries. Despite so many reviewers giving it near perfect scores, the text that they wrote to accompany it really put me off.

Great another one of these. I can see how a lot of people don't like the audio cues telling them they are wrong and that there are clues here but I was under the impression you could turn audio cues off. If this is the case I don't see how you could really complain about something you can take off that you don't like. I must also be playing the wrong games because looking back on all the ones I have played I can break just about all of them to one simple mechanic that I am doing through most of the game with a new power or gun thrown in maybe here or there.

My biggest complaint with this game is that the open world seems a little to big. It looks like it is all coming down to a matter of personal taste though because I am really enjoying the game. I am on my second play through now going after the achievements I missed. I wanted to trade the game in during homocide, stuck with it though and finished it.

The ending was terrible. For me it just boils down to this: I think I'd enjoy watching L. Noire more than I enjoy playing it. I think more clues should be linked to the same "Lie" option and i think it would be more rewarding if the interrogation part was more wide in terms of right and wrong and not only one answer on each. Let say there's a percentage instead.
