Which captain died in bleach

Chojiro Sasakibe was one of the first Soul Reapers to go after the Wandenreich made its presence know.

The entire First Division was attacked, and of its members were slaughtered in under five minutes. Sasakibe died after being impaled by Driscoll Berci's arrow, and the Captain-Commander's aid was cremated once he passed. However, Sasakibe would not be the last member of the First Division to pass. Yamamoto himself was killed during his climatic showdown with Yhwach. The elder released his Bankai for the first time, but Yamamoto still fell victim to Yhwach's sword as he was sliced in half.

Unohana and Ukitake were also killed during the arc as they tried to save the Soul Society. Not all losses in this story were character deaths; some of them were characters being forced to retire or give up their lifestyle, and there is more than one way to "die. With this broad definition in mind, we are ready to cover five more deaths and losses.

She was Ichigo's mother, and in flashbacks, we see that she was the sweestest and most doting mom a boy could ask for. In fact, young Ichigo would brighten at the very sight of her, and it devastated him when Grand Fisher killed her on a rain-soaked riverbank. Later, it is revealed that she was once a half-blood Quincy, but she lost her powers and thus was an easy target for the villainous Grand Fisher. The normally jovial Isshin Kurosaki is also pretty somber when he visits her gravesite, and he remembers her fondly.

The sisters Hisana and Rukia knew nothing but hardship and heartbreak for the longest time. They were orphans in the Rukongai's impoverished districts, and Hisana, in fit if desperation, abandoned her little sister and ended up with the Kuchikis. The young family head, Byakuya, broke protocol and married her, and their marriage was a dreamlike bliss according to Hisana until she died of an illness five years later.

Byakuya took this pretty hard, but he did honor Hisana's last wish and recruited Rukia to the Kuchiki family and Gotei Unlike most of the characters on this list, Sajin Komamura didn't lose his life in Bleach.

But this stalwart Captain did embrace a hidden power to defeat Sternritter "E" Bambietta Basterbine, and in so doing, exhausted the last of his Soul Reaper power. He was rendered a powerless wolf afterwards and thus retired from the Court Guard Squads. His Lieutenant, Tetsuzaemon Iba, took his place, as Bleach 's final chapter shows. What a shame, too, since he was a tough and cool Captain!

His steadtast leadership saw the Soul Society through many hardships, and he was ready to lay his life on the line to face down the traitorous Sosuke Aizen. He survived that battle, but ultimately lost his life to Yhwach. Captains Ukitake and Kyoraku took his death very hard, as he was like a father to them.

Even some villains get sympathy sometimes, and out of the ten Espadas, the Primera Espada 1 wasn't such a bad guy after all. Before joining Aizen's army, he was just a lonely guy who actually created Lillynette from his body just to have a friend.

Other hollows died around him due to his incredible spiritual pressure, but Aizen gave him some much-wanted friends with the Espadas. Stark didn't even like fighting that much, and he only reluctantly crossed swords with Kyoraku and Ukitake.

Here's another villain who made this list. At first, Ulquiorra is an ice-cold killer, and he was the mastermind behind Orihime's abduction.

He later subjected her to emotional torment at Las Noches, and he very nearly killed Ichigo and Uryu during their final battle. But Ulquiorra is a creature tortured by loneliness and emptiness, and while he tried to make all that a part of his being, he was drawn to Orihime's heart. He scorned the idea, until he saw the light for the first time, and wanted very badly to see Orihime's heart.

He dissolved into dust, though, right before he could do it. Hueco Mundo - The vast majority of the espada are confirmed to be dead, as are a large number of other arrancar. There's some uncertainty about Stark, though since he was literally falling apart last we saw him, it's unlikely he's alive.

Yammy looked pretty dead, but since his corpse didn't fade away like Ulqiorra's and many of the rest, I'll assume that there's a possibility he's alive. Aizen's crew - Everyone except Aizen is dead, and Aizen will be in prison for 20, years hell if I understand why they chose that number instead of, you know, infinite.

So tell me, who else sees this massive disparity, and why is it here? Bleach Anime Answers. Bleach really dropped the ball with this one. It makes no sense how Stark can die from a slash across his chest and Halibel to die from a slash across her gut, but Ukitake gets impaled through his heart and he was alive!

Momo got hit with one of the most official combos I ever saw that was meant to kill Aizen and yet she lived? None of that made sense. I can understand that certain characters have a fan base but so did the ones that he killed on the "bad" side.

I'm quite sure Stark and Grimmjow's fan base is much greater than Komamura or Yamamoto's. Speaking of Yamamoto, didn't he use an ability called sacrificial blade and blow himself up? How is he alive? Toushiro gets owned in every fight yet lives, but an espada gets slashed in the gut and kills over? You have to have characters on the "good" side to die or else your story has zero emotion in it and ultimately starts to suck.

I remember when Jariya died in Naruto. I was shocked, I couldn't believe my favorite character who I thought was unbeatable could get killed and even though I was kinda upset, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next now that true main characters could die in the series. And lets not forget Whitebeard and Ace in One Piece! What I'm saying is, a story even fantasy stories have to have death in it on the "good" side in order to feel realistic and affect the reader emotionally.

That's why Bleach has fallen far off for those of us that read the manga. And the anime watchers will soon have the same frustration that we are suffering! Get it together Tite or whatever the writer's name is. I agree, I think there are a lot of characters they could kill off in order to take the message home that not everyone in Soul Society is immortal. The fact that we have to bring up Naruto as an example of something better perturbs me, especially considering that that show views so many characters as being so important that its author was willing to commit hari kari and take the best fight in the series Pein vs.

Naruto and make it completely worthless by bringing back every single person Pein killed. Naruto is an example of this being done poorly, but Bleach is an example of it not being done at all.

One Piece isn't especially fond of killing off its characters either, but what it did do and what made this so amazing is that it offed 2 major characters without much in the way of warning and with dramatic impact on the main character. Sure, no one in his crew has died, but this probably had more impact than that ever would. Death of allies, friends and family makes a story gritty and real, it provides something for the reader to grab onto.

Tite needs to take a lesson from that. Part of what I like about the story we're crafting in Bleach: The Fallout is that death is a regular occurrence, and it's something that profoundly affects the mentalities of the major players, specifically that the story is shaped in many ways by those deaths. Comparing Bleach to Naruto is just proof of how low Bleach has gotten I was wondering if starrk was alive or not. Plus I figured jurishiro would have died impaled. Thou I wonder why oriheme did'nt just heal everyones wounds ex;soi fons arm.

I think he's trying to kill off more bad guys, but that just puts the uninjured and very-much alive people in retrospect, which is one of the biggest faults in Bleach. Say if Toshiro died, imagine how many diehard Toshiro fans would freak out and retalulate. When Ulquiorra "died" in quotes because Kubo would neither confirm nor deny he was dead: Ulquiorra said he was the only one with a second ressourcion, but whose to say he doesn't have a third and rise from the dead?

Kubo recieved literally hundreds of fan mail argueing against it, and Ulquiorra was just in the Arrancar arc, he wasn't in it since the beginning where most fans make their attachments ie.
