Tags: cuban Hoboken hoboken I believe there is a second floor going upwards. Probably a successor to Teak since Teak has been sold to new owners. Anything but another cheesy guido club. The Hoboken residents who own places here need to have some pride and do everything that they can to block low class owners from building these cheesy Seaside Heights type places.

The house salad is terrific. I often eat it as an entree. This past visit, I had a snapper special that was excellent. Another member of our party had the Putenesca pasta. It is consistently tasty and well made.
Our third member of our party had the chicken- which she raved about. The potato croquettes that come with the chicken were irresistible.
If I had one issue, it would be that sometimes things get a bit spicy but they are very willing to lower the heat if you ask. Service is always excellent. It appears they have a staff that is stable- not a lot of coming and going. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner. The flavors were amazing! Will definitely be back!!
Made reservations and was glad we did, as Lana was verybusy. We had a party of four, and our table was ready for when we arrived. It was Restaurant Week and they had a special Menu in addition to the regular choices.
We all selected from the Specials and all enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent and we were impressed that the Chef assisted in serving each dish prepared. Lana is located in a neighborhood setting outside the main historic district, but was easy to find and worth the trip! We had a great meal during restaurant week. Especially loved the shrimp appetizer. Our server was great and very attentive. I love that it's a smaller restaurant with a neighborhood feel. You could tell the courses were brought out as they finished in the kitchen.
All the food was piping hot! The house made gnocchi was fantastic! I agree with the majority of the reviews, Good food, good service, an adequate wine list, and overall a very pleasant dinning experience.
We have been to Lana's 3 or 4 times and have never had a bad meal. And a big plus, free parking after PM across the street. The duck is what I ordered. It was had a peach sauce. You could not taste peach. The confit was a little more greasy than normal with not as much flavor as usual. I normally would rate the Lana duck very high just no this time.
My brother ordered it as well. The breast portion of his duck was overcooked. I'm a regular. This particular experience was more personal. The chef actually brought our food items and spent time with our table Our sever was very knowledgeable with wine list as well.
I loved the food! I had some of the best pasta I've ever had here. Also, everyone was so friendly! It was a lovely spot. Food was mediocre at best. Highly overpriced. Far better places to eat in Charleston. Lana's was excellent. Good, simple food, well prepared. Service was terrific. Very good food with fine service. Rustic setting in corner house with a dinning room that could become very noisy if full. Food was delicious and it was the perfect place to eat dinner and enjoy each other's company.
